It has been quite the journey in getting ready to open. The building we have at 5806 West Avenue was build in 1911. It has been a wheel and buggy shop, pharmacy, and many different retail shops over the years. This is the first time it has had a kitchen in it and a lot of changes and updates needed to happen to get it there. Below are some of the before and after photos we took along the way. We had a great time at the Fall Festival that was held last weekend in downtown Lavonia. We met a lot of great people and gave many tours of the brewery. We are looking forward to opening soon!
Come see our brewer, Adam Woody, who will be pouring at the Hoppy Possum next month. He will be pouring his “Dude Abides” Vanilla Cream Ale and his Pecan English Brown Ale. The Hoppy Possum is a home brew festival that hosts the Southern Brewers Cup and takes place 9/24/2022 in Johnson City, TN.
